The Contract view shows the coverage of your inventory of equipment under GE or other service agreements. The view contains a grid of data on each purchased or rented equipment in your inventory and a details panel with additional data on selected contract details.

The Contract view provides the data you need to analyze all your service contracts for optimization opportunities, so you can control costs and improve capital planning:

Available Contract views

This tables lists the shared Contract views supplied with iCenter, describing the configurations that distinguish them.

View title Applied filters Description Usage
Active contracts details Contract status: Active This view lists All Active Contract details. This information is useful for those who need to know the current coverage status of all equipment, so they can identify any that is at risk regarding contract coverage.
All contract details Contract status: Active, Inactive, Future, and Undefined This view lists all contract details. This information is useful for those who need to know the historical status of all their equipment coverage, so they have a view of past, current, and future contract coverage.
Contract expiring Contract status: Active, Inactive, Future, and Undefined This view lists all contracts that have expired in the past 30 days or are due to expire in the next 30 days. This information is useful for Biomed Directors, Imaging Managers, or Facilities Managers who need notification of any device that has an expiring contract.

The values here can help with planning to ensure there is adequate maintenance on all devices and that devices are available and safe for patient use.

Future contract details Contract status: Future This view lists all contract details that have coverage start and end dates later than the current date. This information is useful for those who need to know the future status of all equipment coverage, so that they can ensure they have reduced the risk in their contract coverage.
Inactive contract details Contract status: Inactive This view lists all contract details that have coverage start and end dates that are earlier than the current date. This information is useful for those who need to know the past status of all their equipment coverage, so they know what equipment had contract coverage in the past.

Data definition—Grid

The grid contains a list of equipment matching the filters applied by the selected Contract view.

These standard iCenter data fields are included as column headers in the grid. For convenience, these are listed in alphabetic order in this topic; column headings may appear in a different order in your screen depending on the view displayed and any customizations you have made:

  • For uptime columns marked with an asterisk (*), a value is displayed only for assets that have current active contract or warranty coverage.
  • In some regions, contract lines are not displayed for canceled contracts.[ regional availability]

The Details panel provides additional data on an item of equipment selected in the grid. For convenience, field labels are listed in alphabetic order in this table. For descriptions of these fields, see the Consult the iCenter data dictionary.

Feature[ regional availability] None List of contract entitlements, for example parts, service times, hardware and software upgrades, technical support, and uptime.

Coverage Onsite field engineer For each day of the week, the start and end times of standard work hours that work performed by an on-site GE field engineer is covered under the equipment's contract details. Hours are specified in WEEKDAY 24-hour clock hhhh-hhhh format, for example, MONDAY 0800-2100.
Remote insite For each day of the week, the start and end times of standard work hours that work performed remotely by a GE Support engineer is covered under the equipment's contract details. Hours are specified in WEEKDAY 24-hour clock hhhh-hhhh format, for example, MONDAY 0800-2100.
Planned maintenance For each day of the week, the start and end times of standard work hours that Planned Maintenance work performed by a GE field engineer is covered under the equipment's contract details. Hours are specified in WEEKDAY 24-hour clock hhhh-hhhh format, for example, MONDAY 0800-2100.
