Monitor field modification service requests

Learn how to monitor active Field Modification Instruction (FMI) service requests in the Activity view.

You can monitor active Field Modification Instruction (FMI) service requests in the Activity view. You can use this information to identify equipment that needs to be updated or upgraded for patches or new features, schedule service at a time the equipment won't be in use for patient care, and monitor the status of the modification. You can also use the information in this view to determine the need to train staff on using new features, inform patients about the impact of the new features on their care, and obtain documentation for regulatory compliance and accreditation.
